We're proud to take part in the Snow Foundation's Leadership Program
Stephen Woodlands and Jo Formosa recently attended the launch of the inaugural Snow Foundation's Lead the Way program in a two-day retreat in Canberra. The six-month program is designed for invited CEOs and senior leaders in the for-purpose sector who aim to enhance their leadership skills, share their learnings, grow networks with peers, and amplify their organisational impact and outcomes for their clients. π
The Snow Foundation has excelled as a leading philanthropic organisation seeking to strengthen the work of the for-purpose sector, including our work at Head Start Homes. This is one-of-a-kind opportunity for not for profit organisations to be given and we are humbled to be one of 29 leaders participating in the course.
The interactive approach by the facilitators from the Social Impact Hub, brought the masterclasses to life and set the scene with invaluable insights and guidance and learning through fun too, said Stephen.π§ π‘
"Iβve had the pleasure of meeting so many inspiring people who are driven by passion and a sense of purpose, working tirelessly every day to make the world a better place. I am excited about the upcoming six months, eager to grow, exchange knowledge, and contribute to this fantastic program and leadership community."
Launching the program at Wildbark at Mulligans Flat was the perfect setting to introduce the program and leaders to each other. said Jo,
βIn the 24 hours we were at the retreat, people openly shared experiences, provided ideas and solutions to challenges, and a genuine strong sense of community focused on the ultimate goal of improving client outcomes through investing in leadership and organisations. I am excited about the rest of the courseβ.ππΏ
Stephen and Jo's participation is a testament to Head Start Homes' commitment to continuous learning and leadership development. Their experience at the conference will undoubtedly contribute to our mission of empowering communities and fostering sustainable change. π±π€
