Role: We’re growing and looking for Financial Capability Workers
Team: Home Ownership Success
Salary Type: Independant Contractor
Term: 18 Month Contract (contract may be extended based on funding)
Commitment: Fulltime or part time (Up to 38 hours per week with flexibility)
Location: Mainly virtual role
Hourly rate: $45 per hour plus 11.5% super
Total contract rate: $50.18 (this figure accounts for the hourly rate plus an 11.5% superannuation contribution)
Reports to: Chief of Client Success

Head Start Homes is a innovative not-for-profit Community Services organisation helping lower-income renters improve their financial capability and achieve their home ownership dreams via our groundbreaking Empowerment Services and Products. Most of our clients are single mums, First Nations Peoples, households with a disability or social housing tenants.
Your Opportunity
Head Start Homes seeks passionate and values-driven Financial Capability Workers to join their Home Ownership Success Team. The ideal candidates will have over a year of experience in financial capability roles, strong advocacy skills, and a commitment to reducing intergenerational poverty.
Responsibilities include providing financial literacy coaching, assessing clients' financial situations, developing personalised financial plans, and promoting the program’s services.
