HSH welcomes Property Coach Penny Vandenhurk
Head Start Homes warmly welcomes buyer’s agent Penny Vandenhurk, Director of Purchase with Penny, as one of our new property coaches.
Penny is one of two new coaches' property coaches joining HSH to support clients on their home ownership journey.
As a former member of the Westpac mortgages team, Penny said she has always been passionate about helping buyers who aren’t fully informed about the process of buying a house.
“Head Start Homes works with the most vulnerable of home buyers who don’t have the financial flexibility to make a poor decision,” she said.
“As a coach, I’ll be guiding them through dealing with agents, making an offer, and setting them up for success.”
Penny, who also has experience in property law, said people often found real estate daunting - but it didn’t need to be.
“The key is that they don’t know what they don’t know. I’ll be filling that knowledge gap and giving them the confidence to go through the buying process.
“Buyers must have the right information to make informed decisions about properties and value based on their circumstances. Buying property is a significant emotional and financial investment.
“It’s also important to understand that it’s not a one size fits all - everyone has a different set of criteria and circumstances when it comes to buying a home, so it’s a matter of how I can provide my knowledge to serve them best.”
HSH Founder and Managing Director Stephen Woodlands said Penny’s previous experience in the banking sector and her expertise in real estate would be a perfect fit for the organisation.
“We are most fortunate to have Penny on board to support our clients on their home ownership journey and we thank her for her generosity in providing her services,” he said.
Penny will be hosting a free first home buyer webinar on 9 August 2023. If you would like to learn more, you can check out the following link: fhbinsidersecrets.eventbrite.com
