Westpac runs for HSH in City2Surf
Head Start Homes sincerely thanks Westpac’s Mortgages and Marketing teams and all those who participated in the City2Surf fundraiser on Sunday 14th of August. Around 30 Westpac staff participated in the 14km run through Sydney.
Because of their participation, Westpac employees raised over $2000 which will go towards supporting Single Mothers, First Nations Australians, and families in community housing. Westpac is our Founding Partner and more than 100 volunteers from Westpac have directly supported us over the years.
Richard Burton, Managing Director of Westpac’s Mortgages Team, said they chose to support HSH because it is aligned to their vision and purpose.
“It’s important to us that we support Head Start Homes as often as we can,”
Founder and Managing Director Stephen Woodlands said he was grateful for the support.
“Thanks to every team member who is participating in the run - your efforts are greatly appreciated, with all funds raised going towards putting someone on the pathway to home ownership.”
