Jody Broun: Head Start Homes Supporter Spotlight

This edition of Supporter in the Spotlight focuses on Jody Broun, Chief Executive at the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) and Group Deputy Secretary, Aboriginal Outcomes at NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.

Jody is committed to the continued education of Aboriginal people, and as a result has spent 30 years in Aboriginal Affairs at a national and state level (WA and NSW). Equally, she’s passionate about providing Indigenous people with opportunities to achieve home ownership.

We are so grateful for Jody’s experience and commitment to this space and the invaluable involvement of the AHO, who play such an important role in empowering First Nationals People to achieve safe and stable housing.

Jody spoke to us at our most recent Annual General Meeting. Check out the video below for what she had to say about how important our partnership is in terms of helping Indigenous people achieve the dream of owning their own home.

A big thanks to Jody and the AHO for their ongoing support and funding which has been instrumental in helping Charlene (our first applicant) achieve her home ownership dreams.
