We are thrilled to announce that Head Start Homes has been granted tax exemption status as a not for profit Community Services Organisation.

What this means in practical terms is that we can put the money that we'd normally pay in tax towards helping even more people access safe, secure and stable housing.

As we continue our journey to reduce poverty and end homelessness, this is another exciting milestone for the Head Start Homes community as together we strive for an Australia where everyone has access to a safe and stable home with fair and practical pathways into home ownership.

A special thanks to Darren McClafferty, Jeremy Hart, Dan Creasey and the rest of the team at King & Wood Mallesons for the wonderful pro-bono support they provided to help make this happen.
