Opening the RFi Australian Mortgage Innovation Summit

It was a real privilege to have our Founder Stephen Woodlands opening the RFi Australian Mortgage Innovation Summit this morning. It was fantastic to see such a positive response to the Head Start Homes solution for fairer pathways into homeownership from the finance sector.

As the Australian Keynote Speaker, Stephen shared about how mortgage innovation is creating a fairer Australia through the work of Head Start Homes and our partners. An Australian first, our new products equalise access to home finance for community housing tenants, and empower them to become mortgage-ready & better able to pursue their home ownership dream. This delivers an incredible social return of a multiplier effect to reduce homelessness and intergenerational poverty.

A special thank you to Andrew Stabback and RFi Group for hosting a great event, it was wonderful to connect with so many leaders from retail banks and other lenders from around Australia. A further thanks to Andrew for the following endorsement and passionate support of solutions that make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people:

“As a 20 year veteran of questioning and hearing the best of what the financial services sector can say and then ideally do, I can confirm that Stephen Woodlands and Head Start Homes has delivered a remarkable product and service for the people who will most benefit.

“Mortgage Innovation excellence!

“The industry and governments across Australia should sit up and take notice of what is a remarkable achievement. Simply an outstanding outcome.”

- Andrew Stabback, CEO, Publisher & Founder AB+F Magazine
