A warm welcome to Joel Larsen, our newest Board Member

We’re so pleased to welcome Joel Larsen to the Board of Head Start Homes.

Joel has Worked for the Westpac Group for 9 years in various leadership roles. Most roles have been focused on helping customers own their own home, and Joel now supports the Westpac Home Ownership division with key strategic and operational advice as the Business Manager to the General Manager.

One of Joel’s greatest achievements at Westpac is reinvigorating the bank’s offering for First Home Buyers when the market was largely focused on investors. Joel has a passion for helping people purchase property and has seen first hand the benefit home ownership gives to building prosperity for families.

His previous volunteer experience includes serving the board of the Sydney Rangers Football Club as the executive for fundraising and sponsorship and working closely with Westpac’s Indigenous Social Enterprise program to help a range of start-ups establish targeted business investment plans.

Joel has been a major advocate of Head Start Homes within Westpac and beyond. We have so appreciated and benefited from his support to date, and look forward to his ongoing contributions as a Board Member into the future.
